| No CommentThe electric cinema in Birmingham is the oldest working cinema in the UK. It first opened its doors on December 27th, 1909, screening a silent movie for all to enjoy. Now, home to luxury seating, a waiter service and a full bar, the famous electric cinema celebrates its centenary.
The Electric Cinema in Birmingham has always been proud to play independent productions as well as mainstream films. But the big difference with this old fashioned cinema house is the service and the personal feel and atmosphere. But old fashioned doesn’t mean stuck in a time warp – you can follow Birmingham Electric cinema on Twitter. Follow them here.
